  • PETA Asks Sheriff To Put JonBenet Ramsey Killer On Nonviolent Diet.

GFN has learned that the self confessed child killer of JonBenet Ramsey, Mr. John Mark Karr, has in the past financially supported PeTA. GFN asks if PeTA will pay for his defense as they did for the convicted Rodney Coronado from ALF, once they figure out Mr. Karr is actually a supporter of PeTA.

This also ties into HSUS as they both are in the backpockets of each other. BTW, when is HSUS going to follow-up on their threat of a "lawsuit" against GFN? Remember HSUS, and we know you read our newsletter, J.P. Goodwin has been a self professed member of ALF. Oh how the plot thickens.

    Granny Warriors Update

The Granny Warriors arrived at the Grand Central Train Station across the street from the Westin where the protest was supposed to be held and found we could not park there as earlier planned. Supposedly there had been someone that had looked at the place and thought it would be permitted, but it is private property and we were told to move our RV or it would be towed. We moved to another parking area on the same property unknowingly and were told again we would be towed..Thankfully GFN took care of the parking permit, in the last moment, and got the permit for us to park directly in front of the Westin.

The people who did show up were good people and worked hard all day long and informed a lot of passersby's of the NAIS program. One lady from Arkansas, Sid, came all the way on a bus (a one way trip as she couldn't afford a round trip) she worked all day long in the sun with only a few trips to the RV for cold water etc. We did manage to get her a bus ticket home but had already promised to give her a ride back to Arkansas in the RV even if it was way out of the way. She is a trooper.. We need more like her.

She also had printed up hundreds of bumper stickers which she hoped to sell for her bus ticket home but sold none of them. There was a couple there from Vermont, Karen came up from Texas and we had several Monkey owners with us who had the courage to stand up against the government at last.

Of course we had a reporter from GFN with us also. Susanne Windsor who owns the Americas Animal Owners Inc. association was there for us and donated a hundred dollars which we spent on soft drinks, sandwich material and water for the protesters. Suzanne gave all she had and when leaving didn't have the money to pay for her parking. Now that is dedication. She needs a lot of pats on the back for being out front and fighting for all animal owners rights in Kansas and Mo. She and her mother Vicky H. have attended every single meeting in the capitol and have beaten many of the bills that have been illegally written by PeTA and HSUS under the guise of a NON-PROFIT 501 (c) 3. They are a good team and a hard working pair that needs everyone's support.

The protest was all in all good, one guy in a yellow corvette came down the end of the block and waved a sign at us about NAIS. It was one I had painted that he had talked someone out of at the other end of the street and was driving all over the area waving it around.. Great display from him. We have no idea of who he is but sure thank him for his work.

We stayed until 6 PM and felt we had done a good days work for all of us. The fridge was empty, we were worn out, hungry and tired but in good spirits. We then went to our friends home where we stayed and played with all the monkeys in the monkey room. A reporter from GFN said she used to wonder what people had monkeys for and now she knows...lol.. Just for the fun of it.

I will have some photos later,

    Linda, a 'Granny Warrior'.

Editors Note: Don't you feel ashamed that your letting the "Granny's" fight your battles for freedom, Hummm?

On August 23rd in Kansas City Missouri, the NIAA had the USDA Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns giving the keynote address at their 2006 ID EXPO at the Crown Westin Plaza, 1 East Pershing Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64108. Also on that day Dr. Mary Zanoni participated in a panel discussion representing those of us opposed to the NAIS. Click Here for the Crown Westin Website

Privacy Concerns Continue To Bedevil Livestock ID Program

This comes into GFN from Oklahomans_against_NAIS@yahoogroups.com

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - U.S. Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns assured livestock owners Wednesday that information collected in a planned animal identification program will be kept confidential and used only in the event of a disease outbreak. Speaking before a conference on animal identification technology and policy, Johanns sought to downplay concerns that farm information collected through the program could fall into the hands of competitors, animal rights activists or other members of the public. He said private vendors would collect and maintain the data, making it off-limits to federal open-records laws, a concern that has led officials in some states, such as Vermont, to put their own data-collection efforts on hold.

"It is not data that is controlled and owned by the USDA, so we can protect confidentiality," Johanns said in response to a question from the audience.

Johanns' assurances held little water with some of the 30 protesters picketing outside the meeting. They said the program violated their property rights, would cost too much and is aimed at helping large-scale producers who want to sell their livestock overseas. "I raise for my own use, and it would wipe me out," said Sue Karber, who owns a few head of cattle in Kingfisher, Okla. "If someone wants to use this for export, fine, but leave our domestic policy alone."

The Department of Agriculture wants to be able to identify and tag each of the country's more than 9 billion cows, pigs, chickens and other livestock by 2009 so it would be able to track them within 48 hours of a report of disease. Agriculture officials have begun approving companies selling tagging and tracking equipment, setting up competition that Johanns said would keep costs for producers low.

Federal officials still describe the program as voluntary, but Johanns acknowledged that farm owners choosing not to register their animals would create significant gaps in the system, making it harder to track a diseased animal and the animals with which it came into contact. "That's the very reason why we've got to move this forward and do everything we can to try to get as close as we can to all animals being registered within this system," he told the conference members. "What we're looking for here is commercial identification. We're not trying to figure out which kid in America is going to show a calf at a county fair."

Missouri Department of Agriculture spokeswoman Misti Preston said 8,846 farms and other places with livestock, or 9 percent of the total, have registered under the state's version of the federal program.

Johanns said he believes retailers, overseas markets and consumers will ultimately demand such a tracking system and noted that Australia has used its own animal identification program as a marketing tool.

"The faster we can assure consumers and trading partners of the health of our herd during an outbreak," he said, "the less economic impact on absolutely everyone."

Many Pets Still Homeless After Katrina

If HSUS thinks for one second we're not sniffing up their butts, they have another think coming. GFN has "reporters" all over the planet and will track you down, Mr. Wayne Pacelle. BTW, HSUS, are you feeling the heat of the Gov. yet? Don't worry, you will be VERY soon.

How's that AG investigation going in Louisiana against HSUS for all the money and pets you ripped off, Mr. Pacelle? Also, how do you like living in the lap of luxury with your HIGH end 6 digit salary paid for by un-suspecting donors to HSUS. Don't worry your carrot top head to much, GFN will back off of you when you back off gun toting AMERICANS.

Trust me Mr. Pacelle, GFN has more on you than you'd care to discuss in a 'court of law'. Don't believe me? Then just try me, you lose hands down.

    Throwing In The Towel

GFN is sick and tired of turn coats who bow down to the ART's/ ARA's. If the public does not reach behind their shoulders and feel that part of the human skeleture structure called a "BACKBONE", we are doomed by the suffering currently being put forth by WACKO ART's/ ARA's.

The Members of GFN, and other organizations, need to find your "BACKBONE", otherwise you'll be mowing the back forty with your teeth for nourishment.

GFN suggests that you get off your dead butts and stop the illegal madness being done by the ART's/ ARA's.

You MUST become active or lose your freedoms. If you remain silent and not take legal action please unsubscribe to the GFN newsletter, we don't need or want you.

Below is one such person who went "yellow belly" and gave up, don't you do the same.

    Here is the story...

The constant calls, the people frightening his children, and the demonstrations in front of his home apparently became a little too much.

Dario Ringach, an associate neurobiology professor at the University of California at Los Angeles, decided this month to give up his research on primates because of pressure put on him, his neighborhood, and his family by the UCLA Primate Freedom Project, which seeks to stop research that harms animals.

Anti-animal research groups are trumpeting Ringach’s move as a victory, while some researchers are worried that it could embolden such groups to use more extreme tactics.

Ringach’s name and home phone number are posted on the Primate Freedom Project’s Web site, and colleagues and UCLA officials said that Ringach was harassed by phone — his office phone number is no longer active — and e-mail, as well as through demonstrations in front of his home.

In an e-mail this month to several anti-animal research groups, Ringach wrote that “you win,” and asked that the groups “please don’t bother my family anymore.”

Editors note: The ALF seems to have won, sorry to say. Where are those with a "BACKBONE" to fight these "TERRORISTS"? Don't count on the FBI, CIA, NIS or any other 'agency' to fight them. It's up to us not to back down and vote as "We The People". Remember the second amendment.

If the ALF and the likes of PeTA, who supports ALF, can get away with this then you ALL better remember the American tradition of "The Right To Bare Arms".

You can find the ALF website press release here. Click Here

You people really need to wake up and get a grip on what is going on.

Get involved and send the GFN newsletters to EVERYONE you know. Print them out, pass them around or lose your freedoms. It takes a "BACKBONE" to fight for freedom. Are you willing to do that? I know the staff at GFN is.
